Der HF | NFC Access Reader NEO 2 ist ein schlankes und kompaktes RFID Lese-/Schreibgerät mit integrierter Antenne. Er ist wahlweise mit Ethernet, RS485 (Modbus), Wiegand oder USB 2.0 Schnittstelle erhältlich.

Das Gerät arbeitet mit einer Frequenz von 13,56 MHz und unterstützt die Standards ISO 14443 A/B sowie ISO 15693. Es liest und beschreibt MIFARE® Classic Mini / 1K / 4K, MIFARE® Plus, MIFARE® Smart, MIFARE® DESFire®, MIFARE® Ultralight sowie NTAG Transponder.

Die Lesereichweite beträgt bis zu 5 cm, abhängig vom Transpondertyp und der Ausrichtung. Das kompakte Gehäuse mit LED-Statusanzeige und Schutzklasse IP65 zeichnet den Reader besonders aus. Die Version mit Ethernet-Schnittstelle verfügt zusätzlich über I/O-Eingänge und Ausgänge für eine flexible Systemintegration.
